Pittsburgh Redesigners & Staging Specialists Go on Safari -- Attending National Conference
PARIS Members; Amy Ross, Beth Sammarone & Nanette Catarinella went on "Safari" In Erie Pa to the annual Society of Decorating Professionals (SDP) Conference on Aug 2 - 5, 2006. In addition to the hands on education classes, such a "Monkeying Around with Accessories", lead by Joanne Schaefges, floral designer to Oprah Winfrey, conference highlights included addresses by multiple leaders in the design, decorating and marketing industries, in which Nanette Catarinella, of "Room Styles Interiors" was a panel speaker on the topic of Real Estate Staging.
Attendees also entered the Annual "Before & After Interior Redesign & Decorating Photo Contest in which The Redesgn Team of Amy Ross & Beth Sammarone won the award for "Best Living Room Redesign - No Decorating Dollars". This is the second time to win this honor judged by their peers of over 80 decorating professionals attending the conference.
Interior Redesign - also known as "One Day Decorating" is using what a homeowner already owns, transforming a room all in one day, through proper placement of furniture, lighting and accessories. These concepts can be seen on HGTV Decorating Cents and Freestyle as well as staging techniques seen on Designed to Sell have proven to help properties sell faster and for top dollar.
Ross, Sammarone & Catarinella also applied for and passed certification testing in these two areas of expertise, and are Charter members of the Society of Decorating Professionals(SDP).
